Serco has been awarded a new contract worth up to £322 million to continue running Covid-19 testing sites for another year. The company now runs 20% of centres in England and Northern Ireland. This contract was gained after a competitive tendering process.
The contract with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is to operate regional, local and mobile testing centres in England and Northern Ireland for a year with an option for a six month extension.
