CCGs in London have been told to set aside money to cover the cost of patients who live in their CCGs, but are registered with GP at Hand, however some London CCGs are contesting this charge. GP at Hand is hosted by Hammersmith and Fulham CCG.
Tower Hamlets CCG is one of the CCGs contesting the charge, and together with other London CCGs’, questions both the principle of the fee and the calculation method.
